well, i decided to go ahead and finish up "breaking dawn." it's been sitting in my special catch all chair at the house just staring at me. i kept wondering what bella and edward were up too, so i brought it to work this morning and i had to force my self to put it down so that i could blog. at this rate i'll be finished pretty soon.....what to read next?????
on to the girl scout cookies. every year my mother in law buys tons of cookies from different girls in the neighborhood. usually joey helps me polish them off in a timely fashion......we'll not this year! he can't have any sugar, well, he can only have very little sugar. so girl scout cookies are totally out of the question. well, carolyn still bought tons of these cookies.....so i decided to bring them to work so that the guys would eat some. guess who has ended up eating the most????? ME! i finished one half of a box of shortbread cookies yesterday, and today during my crazed reading frenzy, i started box number two........i feel like a cow! oh well......i guess it could be worse, right????
and now the ashes part. last night we went to mass at 6pm. i have never seen the church so packed for any service before. we had to stand in the back the whole time, and it was even full! i think it's great that everyone comes to church on ash wednesday. parker got his first ashes too. they were rubbed off onto joey's shirt before we left the church. i was going to take a picture of his ash cross, but it was completely gone by the time we got home. better luck next year!!!!
